Letter from the Head of School Christmas 2021

Dear Parents/Guardian,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas holiday and thank you for the gifts and cards that have been sent into school for staff.

The situation with regards to COVID and the new variant is changing on a daily basis and can I ask that where possible that you test your young person prior to returning to school/college on the 5th January, irrespective of whether or not they are showing any symptoms or that they have been vaccinated.

Please follow the guidelines with regard to following the required isolation period if your young person has tested positive. More guidance on this can found on the government website and if the situation changes over the holiday I will keep everyone updated.

As you were all informed the schools Ofsted inspection was completed last week and we will send you the final report as soon as it is published. A copy will also be posted onto our website, but I would like to thank you for all of the positive comments that were sent into Ofsted by parents/carers.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday 5th January to start the Spring term.

Please continue to stay safe and well,

Kind Regards

Wendy Killilea
Head of School
