Our Vision

Our vision is for St John’s to become a Centre of Excellence providing, within a Christian environment, all the essential skills and knowledge for our young people to live happy, fulfilled and purposeful lives in a challenging and constantly changing world.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a community of love and learning, based on Christian values, in which each pupil can achieve their fullest educational potential and thus live life to the full.

Aims

We aim to help young people with learning difficulties to develop their full potential through our policy of encouraging equal opportunities for all.

We aim to create the opportunity for educational development to the highest possible level, together with the development of each individual’s talents, abilities, skills and understanding, and their self-esteem and confidence.

We aim to create an environment which practices self-discipline, respect for others, forgiveness, a spirit of generosity and a respectful tolerance towards other religions, races and ways of life and encompassing principles of justice and peace.

We aim for St John’s to be respected and valued for its contribution to a wider community, including the local community, and to the Catholic Diocese of Brentwood, as well as part of a global community.

We aim for our pupils and their families to be able to look back on their time at St John’s with the recognition of how it has helped them to develop and grow into happy and confident individuals.
